Digital guide
Ravenscar House Museum uses an innovative digital guide to provide you with more information about the artworks, objects and furniture, and their meaning to Jim and Susan
To preserve the domestic feel of Susan and Jim's home, Ravenscar House Museum has no labels on the artworks displayed. Information about the artworks and in many cases the reasons for Jim and Susan's purchase of the work can be found on the digital guide.
The digital guide is accessed through your smartphone or tablet’s web browser.
When you arrive, you'll be asked to scan a QR code that will direct you to the sign up page for the digital guide. Sign up with your email address and you'll be sent an email with a link providing access to the the guide for 3 months after your visit.
After logging in to the guide, you'll be able to explore the House Museum by room or scan artworks using your device's camera to find out more about them.
It’s a good idea to make sure your device is charged before you visit. Please note that the digital guide may not work on some devices. A limited number of spare devices are available to borrow from the House Museum.
A printed souvenir gallery guide is also complimentary with your ticket.
